Federal offenders?
You really don't have a clue.
I knew a guy that got a 3rd DUI test driving a go cart he had worked on, and In Michigan at the time 3rd DUI was a felony.
At one point child support after a certain amount was a felony here.
Even though you used the wrong statistics, if you remove the hood rats that return home and start the only life they know again how does that change your statistics?Siinman and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
My best friend is an Electrician (state licensed) who works for a pension funded job in a town for a state. I'm not gonna name states because opsec.
He's a felon, because of DUI's. 2 when he was before 25, a third at 30, made him a felon, still holds that job for the last 15 years.
Anybody can be a felon, you just have to define the word.
Show me the man, I'll show you the crime.Siinman and Star Rider Thank this. -
The statistcs inluded vast population of prisoners and encompased also state prisoners. It won't be changed by statistical noise.
You know this guy or that guy who got caught because they were stupid enough to get 3rd DUI or irresponsible to not pay child support and let's say that calling them felons is too much but they are only some noise on the statistcal inquiry which indisputably shows societal phonenomenon of recidivism. -
Numbers show patterns. They may not be true and fair for a few individuals who don't fall in the pattern but If every convicted felon became an outstanding citizen, the phenomenon of recidivism wouldn't exist at all.
I can agree that an employer should look at people as they come. The problem is that it takes time for them to get to know you before they can entrust you with responsibilities of driving a big rig vs. working in a kitchen, mechanical shop or construction site when they can keep an eye on you at least initially. -
“Federal offenders”
Have committed federal crimes and prosecuted in federal court. -
Not really.
Entered illegally just as Florida u-turn idiot. Went through the same process and got a CDL legally.
Was allowed to gain one legally under federal law..the law that is being called a loophole..loophole is what they call laws that are not liked..but still a law nonetheless.
This is the reason why they are now limiting the types of visas that qualify for getting a CDL…closing the loophole. -
You think they do that with any other PS drivers on the road vs a felon? You have a weird way of lookin at felons vs everyone else. So many horrible drivers and most are not felons.
-
Our entire system is broken. How do illegals get multi year work permits? Authorized to work here until 2030 is mind blowing to me.FloridaRetired, JB7, IH Truck Guy and 1 other person Thank this. -
If someone is authorized to work here they aren’t illegal..
Calling any of these drivers who got into tragic accidents illegals is patently false.
Want to answer your own question look up EB-3 visas.
