New TA in Pueblo, CO

It's always very surprising to see new TA's and PFJ's go up on empty properties. The more common occurrence I've seen over the years is PFJ buying out an old truck stop and converting it to a One9, and TA doing the same but converting it to a TA Express.

I wish both chains would expand like Love's is doing, we need more truck parking everywhere.

 

Umm....Dotsero is in the middle of the mountains! Few people build truckstops there, for many reasons...

 

Dotsero is still 40 miles west of Vail. Plenty of open space for a TS there or in Gypsum too.

 

Good luck with that thought. Every environmentalist for a hundred miles will be protesting it.

 

They need to bulldoze the one in Brush.

 

If you plan your routes and clock right, Colorado is a very truck friendly state. You dont really need to build more truck stops because you can park many places without anyone bothering you.

 

I used to just park at Niagara in Aurora. Unfortunately they built a new place around the corner and can’t stay overnight.

Never stayed at the crap holes in Denver. Would rather just head north up to Petro, Johnson’s Corner or the TA dump in Brush.

 

Woo hoo! the TA Pueblo it was nice, clean showers, i got to relax in the truckers lounge even took a little nap. Was gonna grab a bite from Bojangles but the fryer was down and they told me across the street is Black Bear Diner owned by the same people LV petroleum the manager was telling me that they work with a contractor in Naples Florida Connor and Gaskin and that they are doing the new one in Wendover. looks those to companies are making a good team for all of us truckers. Wander if we can put in a request of what we want to add to these. Thank you.
