Where is everyone #5

You guys think I should throw anything over the tops? There's nothing to keep it from pulling in, and these are 950lbs each.

 

Can anything slide around on the top of those?

 

No, it's all static. I was worried about them looking loose cause I couldn’t tighten them too much.

They're not doing much, but I tossed 1 strap over each drop.

15 straps on 11k pounds, but it ain't going anywhere.

 

Last night an empty milk tanker hit the overpass uprights at the 92 mile post in Blackfoot Idaho on I-15. All traffic has been routed around because the structural integrity of the overpass has been severely compromised. The detour is very slow and winds either right though town or on county roads (right past our house).

If you have an alternate route it may be worth considering for the foreseeable future.

Intelligence I have received is that it’s a F’d up mess — took the crew working in Rexburg almost 4 hours to get back to the shop— looks like it’ll be a couple weeks at least before the highway opens back up— you’ll probably have to take the long way around until next spring

 

We believe you and all , but we still need to see your GPS. Lol.

 

Anybody looking for truck , trailer, shop equipment everything goes.
CMI is on the west side of Atlanta. A friend of a friend worked there few years ago, always nice well maintained stuff. Several RGN both manual and hydraulic, stepdecks , flatbed and van trailers. It's listed as a retirement auction.

That overpass is scheduled to be replaced, but not yet. I'm hoping I can offer our yard and maybe get in on the dirt work.
