Heartland is not too bad if you have a year experience. I know the guys on Florida regional love it, they run almost exclusively Fla.
I do not know if they are hiring for the region at the moment, but I am pretty sure they are.
The big things they look for on Apps are 1 year recent experience, no more than 3 jobs in 3 years. No more than 6 months since last driving job.

Just do yourself a favor: stay away from Werner ...I got screwed up so big with Werner (nothing new, since Werner is notorious here for same practice)
I'm from Orlando and man, Werner is f the most disgusting and porn offer available. I Had started in Lakeland-FL, what nightmare this company. Knight i do recommend, worked for them for 7 months, nice company. Not big paychecks, but Nice. Squire (Knight "trainning only" division) does a great job. I did refer division which is good, especially if running solo. Team, not. Had respectful relationship with them.
Knight is 300% better than Werner. STAY AWAY from WERNER.

I just checked and the two Tampa positions are the only openings in the state.
We do have a small yard in Fort Myers, but to my knowledge, those guys never leave.

We lost some business when the housing market fell off around election time. We had quite a few drivers on dedicated tile accounts. They were home every weekend, one night during the week and alternated three day weekends.
But two major ceramic tile companies closed their operations and put an end to that gravy train.
But I will keep an eye on Orlando and keep you posted.
