I guess you aren't the only one swapping dispatchers lol.....I went from Robert to Peter as of today. I'm guessing the dispatch office is getting a face-lift. I had Travis for the first 5 years I was here til he left and now he's back...I was so surprised to see hom the last time I was at the yard, I thought he was just making an appearance.Friend, Knucklehead and JForce28 Thank this.

I used to work at Climate. At first I was solo but then my wife and I ran team for awhile before she had to go back home for family matters. I was back solo for awhile. Ended up leaving to pull a hopper bottom. I was home pretty regularly in Illinois but we moved to Texas an now I'm staying out otr again. Still with same outfit I left Climate for. I don't miss grocery warehouses at all!!Friend, bryan21384 and Knucklehead Thank this.

Usually teams do get west runs. Sometimes a solo gets a west run as a treat. I got one to Washington earlier this year. I'm not real sure why Climate has teams. When I went to Washington, I picked up on a Friday to drop the following Tuesday. Came across a team, at the pickup going up there too. They had the same drop off date. Its like they get one west run, the spend the rest of the week running loads that the solos run. Typically, the farthest west most solos go is Colorado. Every blue moon, I've done a Utah, or Arizona in the past but I would never tell prospective drivers that they will get to run to the west coast, because they don't have that much west coast freight for real.JForce28, Peace_Maker and Knucklehead Thank this.

Happy Saturday Climateers, Climate Alumni, and Climate Observers lol....what's the good word? Headed back to Edwardsville with some candy then to the yard to reset.

I finally got a chance to pick up these new pairs of glasses. I didn't do transitional lenses but I did progressive lenses. They also made it to where its more resistant to bright lights at night time, which was my biggest concern. I really like the progressive lenses so far. I use the bigger ones for driving because my peripheral is much improved there. Sometimes it feels like my balance is off so far. Yesterday at Palmyra, I almost missed a step and fell backwards. Lol the step looked closer than it really was with the glasses on....oops.Friend Thanks this.
