How does the cheapest Vu Cube power the satellite movement?
Also how much do you charge to help with the install?
How much notice do you need for the install.
I am up and down I-5 all the time. I just have to convince the wife.

I can answer the first one the vuqube is powered by your sat receive. As soon I can get home I have some pictures to post of my mirror mount set up. Don is very helpful with my questions I had. I finally got it figured out so simple a cave man can do it.

- The shop rate is $70/hour (for anything - installing laptop mounts, VuQube, computer fixing, whatever.)
- VuQube with no-drill bracket usually takes 1 to 1.5 hours. Drill brackets are normally around 2 hours.
- We ask for 1 day notice on installs but can often accommodate with only a few hours notice if no one else has their truck in here that day already.)
- It's always best if you already bring an active receiver for VuQube installs so that we can see it working before you leave on your Dish or DirectTV account (but it isn't mandatory in or to get the Qube installed.) -
How long will the aircraft tape bond? Is it guaranteed so many years?
-
We have hundreds of them on the road (most installed by the drivers themselves) using this bracket now since first creating it 4 years ago and only one has fallen off. The one that fell of was because the driver who installed it did not do the final step of our instructions and run a bead of silicone or RTV around the 4 edges in order to prevent moisture from getting up under it. Then he drove through North Dakota when it was 15 degrees below zero. The moisture froze and expanded causing the bond to break away from the truck. Thankfully the Qube survived the fall and was ok.

Here is a question you may have already answered, but I'm going to ask again. Sorry.
If I have a regular Dish from Direct TV do you have a bracket that I can I mount the dish on a mirror in a company truck to get a signal when I am not at home?
I am moving out of my apartment and will not be living where I need to use the Direct TV any longer. I'd like to not cancel it due to the charge of breaking the subscription agreement and all. Plus if I can use it out there why not...
If i were an O/O I would be interested in the Cube. Maybe even down the road if it is permitted by my future carrier. I'd love to be able to watch football on Sundays out on the Road...
As far as locals go can I get them if I do not have them where I live?
Thanks for your input. -
Also, we made the removable mirror bracket for company drivers and those who aren't allowed to put a bracket up high on the back.hindsy Thanks this.
