I'm still waiting for my trainer.

I'll be working for PAM, so I know I won't have XM or Sirius. Might not even have a CD Player.

I mostly listen to talk radio. But when that doesn't work or I'm between cities I have Heavy Metal on dozens of CDs. Really like 97.1 The Eagle in DFW. 94.5 The Buzz in Houston not quite so much. Can always do 80's!

I always had my Discman/cassette to CD adapter, and usually only listened to the CB while parked at night.

Late night talk radio is the best, Coast to Coast AM was and still is a favorite of mine.

Horns high to all the Metalheads in this thread!

I don't have satellite at the moment, but if I did I'd be listening to the NPR channels, Braves baseball and bluegrass more than anything else. So right now I tune in whatever NPR station I can find, or I plug the iPhone into the stereo and try to stream the news. Otherwise it's music on the iPod or some podcasts on the iPhone--I can't get enough of This American Life, especially if I'm driving late. For some reason that show keeps me awake better than any music can, even metal.

I can easily get too much CB, though.

Every now and then, though, I just like to listen to that turbo. It's honestly one of my favorite things about trucking.

Classic Rewind on XM (got one afterall!). It's even better than 80's on 8!
