The 58 GMC we had was either a 450 or 370, got to thinking about it and actually don’t remember for sure which. Always thought it was unique with the fold out fenders…..

Dang Jim, I don't think I ever replied regarding the old school bus that was our job bus. I don't remember much about it and I am not very good at remembering specifics of different years of vehicles like most of you guys are, but I didn't mean to be rude.

Thanks. It makes it mean more, since I didn't even have the wife around to give moral support. Tried talking her into staying home for that, but she passed. I have to say, it felt a lot harder than it did 2 years ago. Need to get back in shape....other than round.

 

That's what I love about the mechanicals...they can almost be brought back from the dead with common methods and tools.
