I posted in another thread about a week ago that T-Mobile has a great deal for $40 a month, it's 5 gig capped, but they throttle your speeds rather than bill you overage charges.
Millenicom has a $70 unlimited plan, no overages, no throttling.

I'm currently paying 59.99 for my millenicom service which has a cap...I'm guessing 5gig but I don't really know. They claim they throttle you back if you get close to the limit and will notify you via email. But I have never had a problem. Like I said, I stream video all the time and have never hit the limit.

I use my Sprint Phone via USB as a modem for internet using the Sprint Smartview program. If you have unlimited data plan, you can surf how ever long you want. It isn't as fast as your home internet may be but I do speedtest all the time and have got up to 3mbps.

I use my fuel points from TA/PETRO and Flying J to get internet...But of course that only works at those Truck Stops...Otherwise I just tap into unsecured wifi whenever possible...
Try parking close to a McDonalds for free wifi... -
Got an interesting call from Alltel Wireless today. They were notifying me they were canceling my service as of June 23rd. Not because of over usage. Not because of illegal use. Not because of non-payment....but because over 51% of my connections are outside of their network. Apparently I connect with "other" cell towers more often than not. Can you believe this? I have unlimited, nationwide coverage that I pay $64 a month for. I told them when I got it that I would be using it all over the country because My hubby drives truck and I ride with him. They said, "no problem", wherever you get cell service, you will get internet." I believe that in all honesty...this stinks!

They've been doing that a lot since Verizon bought them out. You aren't alone.

Mr. Mustard...the thing is...Verizon had to sell 10% of the ones they bought and guess what? I live in that 10%. Alltel is still the name being used and the company promised no changes to our service. I just got an email about that a couple weeks ago. Once again.....lies....lies....lies! Alltel had roaming agreements with Sprint. Since the purchase, nothing was changed, just as they said, except the roaming agreements between Sprint and Alltel. Verizon broke the agreement, and started charging Sprint when it's customers used Alltel's towers. Spring responded by doing the same. Sprint, which I am a customer, told us up front, that if we roam more than 200 megs a month, buh bye. I'm sure Alltel is doing the same thing. So yeah, you're right to blame Verizon.
