It happens. Louisiana got me for a seat belt a couple weeks ago. Just the cost of doing business sometimes

 

it was 5 miles of unauthorized travel or 200 miles detour….it was like betting on the cowboys - a sure loser

wrote a ticket for $135

I told the Ohio trooper I would have just paid him directly to escort me through the 5 miles

 

135 is cheaper than the detour. So for what that’s worth you are still money ahead

as I explained to the cop

15 mph blind switch backs on 2 lane with no shoulder or run 5 miles through construction with concrete barriers on Both side is an easy choice

I don’t almost get killed or kill some inattentive driver
