I think the real problem is that they couldn’t backup a day cab and trailer.
Local driver trying out a shortcut on Google maps, lol.Flat Earth Trucker, PacoTaco and mjd4277 Thank this. -
That's a day cab there. I'm thinking the driver is American. He ignored those signs straight up. I'd bet he was inexperienced. That GPS can get ya!!!mjd4277, Flat Earth Trucker and PacoTaco Thank this.

He was probably trying to back the overhand over the ditch so he could turn around.Flat Earth Trucker, Concorde and PacoTaco Thank this.

, well, yeah, this a noodlen scratcher,
one thing is clear, that truck will never go down the road straight again. And new drivers may wonder why a particular truck rides rough or odd tire wear. Not sure how they got into this, but it's a daycab reefer, and wheels slid up, so they very well could be delivering to a local restaurant or bar, I don't think they were trying to turn around, I bet, they saw the sign, and not paying attention, rolled backwards to the scene we see here. Don't most places allow for a local delivery? Aside from a twisted frame and pudding all askew, no harm done except for aXX chewin',,

Tandems are slid up because of California’s infamous bridge law.201 and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this.
-
That bridge law is the only California law that I wish applied everywhere.
-
Perhaps, but a day cab and a reefer on a back road looks like a delivery to me. I always slid my tandems all the way up to get around.

California wants the Chaos to keep on happening or else they would follow the mandate as a majority state. The Governor wants to be right when he is wrong and its so obvious that the Chaos will keep on happening once they keep handing out CLD licenses. Most of the general population never realize the magnitude of devastating that could be caused by a fully loaded semi running at 75 mph rolling into a house, building, stopped traffic etc. Yet, common sense wouldn't prevail in states like California. Discipline starts at a young age or you get leaders who are capable of leading properly.
exhausted379, hope not dumb twucker and drvrtech77 Thank this.
