It's funny you mention about a wall being built because I believe, and feel free to correct me if I am wrong that Mexico actually does protect it's border from it's southern neighbors...IE El Salvador,Guatemala,Honduras, etc with a wall..... And I I think it has armed guards too....Isn't that sort of ironic..

Does anyone here fee like acknowledging that our customs are the result of other cultures influencing us? We are a nation of immigrants. I think those of you who are not Native American should get the #### out.

The fact that you think it is, is telling.

 

We ARE a nation of immigrants. The old generation/old world immigrants were hard workers who had to endure bigotry and believed in going through the proper routes to become a citizen and then assimilate. The new generation are often people with a sense of entitlement, even if they DO come here legally. There's a big population of Hindus and Lebanese near where I live, but most of them seem to have a clue, unlike our illegal "friends."

Right there is how the Feds are going to get around any state enforced immigration act. They simply will not pick them up for deportation. When the jails get full, and the money to keep them runs out, the states will not even bother to arrest them.
