Cruise control ? 10 percent of the time probably. Why? Safety and also I don’t look good in pajama bottoms and a sandal clad foot resting up on the dash of a white Volvo.

Over the course of a year, about 50 percent of the time. Obviously in the winter months you need more control of the truck so not as much cruise control..

Based on the belief that the engine parameters are different on cruise, I used it as much as possible, even on long hills like the fancy gap. Manual trans, shift touching the clutch peddle and use the cruise in lower gears too.

When the Cummins Celect N14 came out Cummins claimed you would get 6% better fuel mileage using cruise.
