I had a patient who had smoked most of his life. I had to go and give nebulizer treatments to him and other meds. One really snowy Christmas day, I went to see him and he had started smoking again. Had stopped a couple of weeks or so. Ask me why I was not raising cain like his doctor.
Told him, his choice, but it really would not make a difference.
Never lied to a patient.

A old timer told me that oatmeal, lowers blood pressure and colesterol. I,m been eating oatmeal before dot physicals, it lowers b/p about 20 or so points. I eat a few packs of instant oatmeal, a couple days before.

If you are still around on the board, and C1 Didnt kill you, lol, I would love to hear about your time there. I went there, got my cdl and , no years later look back at the nighmare. There are better ways than C1 to get a cdl.

If You Donate Blood Then Take Your Dot Physical Immediately After, It Should Your Lower Your BP (TEMPORARILY).... Think Of It As A Pipe That Has Lost Water Pressure. What Do You Guys Think?

I would strongly doubt it. You are donating VOLUME and you are measured for PRESSURE. I believe your arteries and vessels would compensate for the missing volume. Of course this is JUST my opinion.

I took 2 BP pills. I got it down to 138/86.
