Try C.A.T Inc -Charlotte North Carolina. They are a company that's from Canada but have us terminals and they also bought out Rich logistics from Arkansas. But Charlotte has their own freight and they operate their own Lanes. Which is really nice. the US drivers do not go to Canada.
    This place is unbelievably awesome.
They use Ryder trucks. You can be anywhere USA. And they are sure to be a Ryder truck shop nearby.
You get plenty of miles over here and if you're in the North Carolina area you can be home every weekend.
They have plenty of miles to Turn and burn. And they're easy to get along with. If you're willing to work for them this is the best company to work for. Their health insurance is the best ever. Once you get into the groove and you get to learn how everything rolls over there you can make some really good money over there with them.
There's so many things I love about this company
Say like you have a trailer that needs to have repairs done to it. If you let the shop know you can drop it at the customer if your load is a drop and hook you can drop the trailer off at the customer and they will send somebody to come fix it. So you can keep moving along. When you go to the yard. they do have a guy that can come and work on your trailer. Just talked to the manager there at the yard and he will tell you what to do. Please please please. This is very important. If you're bringing an empty trailer to to the yard. Make sure you clean the trailer thoroughly and it's ready to go for the customer to reload. You get paid every week direct deposit. And if you have any breakdown issues here they are quickly addressed. T
The Ryder shops are close that you can always swing by and get stuff done. The dispatcher will let you know which place to go to to help you get your equipment fixed.some shops are better at fixing then others.just ask your dispatcher which ones to use and he will tell you. Make sure you let them know when you need to stop and get stuff done so they can plan that when your not under a load.
They also have APU Thermo King tripac. They also have a heater for the winter time. Trucks are running at 68 mph. You can easily do 650 miles per day easily. I've seen it up to 710 once that's because I stayed in it all day. But the sky is the limit over here with this company they make it possible for you to succeed. What I love about this company is they don't waste your time. And if you live up in Virginia you shouldn't have any trouble getting home to meet your family regularly. But of course you know that is the decision of your manager of course . But I think as long as you communicate with your dispatcher on the computer letting him know what all of your needs are you should be able to keep rolling and get home when you need to. Another thing I like about them is when you need to get home they make sure that you can get home when you need it. they don't delay you. But just make sure you let them know on the computer and make sure you give them plenty of notice. So they will have a chance to plan you. Unless of course you have an emergency and then they can deal with that.
The trucks are newer equipment. The trailers are pretty decent for the most part. But if you have any issues with the breakdown breakdown is very easy to contact and what I like about breakdown is if you're at a Love's or a major truck stop they have quick connect so you get to get your equipment fixed and go. They just make everything simple for the driver easy easy. This is by far one of the best companies I've ever seen my whole life. Even their health insurance is the best I've ever seen in the industry. You won't be disappointed you will be glad that you switched over. If you're not a picky person this would be a great place for you. They do need really good drivers over there.
And if you show them that you're a good driver they will take good care of you.
