    Avoid SKB Transport Inc. out of Hodgkins Illinois, total rip off. They kept 3 checks, and $2500 escrow. Will not respond by text or phone. They will find ways to charge you, or just not pay you at all. I have filed a complaint with the IDOL and awaiting a response

    You may be awaiting a response til judgment day. I imagine that it's a 1099 company. When I went to one of those, it was a 1 year rental to finish cleaning up my record. The question is, how did you get seduced into working for this company? My curiosity looms........

    This is not the first time working for them, this is actually my 3rd time. The other two times, they upheld their end of the bargain. No, IDOL will respond within 4 months or so, if not I will move forward with a lawsuit. I do understand, it may take some time, but there has to be laws in place to address this type of issue. Theft of wages is not legal in no state in the country.

    UPDATE:
    This matter has been resolved. The company (SKB Transport Inc.) has now paid me in full. I am posting this update to clarify that there is no longer an unpaid wage issue.
