I guess man. I don't know why gender was mentioned in the title. I don't really care either. All companies are equal opportunity employment. That's all I know. The more important part is that she wanted a company that did long hauls, dry van and would allow a dog. That's where I put my focus. In any event, if I were the OP, I'd probably choose Danny Herman of the ones suggested.

I'm in agreement with you. I even think she'd have more options given that she wants to take the dog. If ya got a couple reefer spots that take dogs, I'd hook her up. OP must understand it's important to keep her options open.

There's several reefer outfits that allow dogs and some allow cats.

Quite a few more options.... @JennaJay heed this post. Merely a suggestion, but at least open your horizons to reefer so yoi can get experience and take your dog.

@bryan21384 and myself and a couple others will help you get this new career started and do it without a lot of drama and unneeded stress. This career isn't complicated at all.

Lol I like to go to the west coast. Lots of truckers love going to the west coast. For me, it's Florida that I don't care for all that much. I'll take a load anywhere, and dispatch will never know what I like or dislike, but Florida at times....yeesh.

I am going to depart from the usual TTR forum recommendation and strongly suggest you go here, engage people there to find a place to start.
