My radio (RCI-2950DX) has been acting up as of late. I’m wired direct to my battery in my truck so I’m getting good voltage. SWR is 1:1.2 on 20. Antenna will take 309 watts but I’m barefoot at 25w max on SSB.
When I key up, there is no dead carrier on AM anymore and when I modulate, I rarely (if ever) see a modulation bar. I used to talk all over with it and it seems nobody can hear me now. I need it checked out around the Ft Myers FL area sometime in the next 3 weeks. Does anyone know of a reputable repair shop near there?

I had a Galaxy Pluto, it had a small kicker(stock in radio) (35 watts)that came with it. It was starting to lose power on getting out. Took it to a reliable shop here in SoCal, the transistors(I think there called) were weak getting burnt out. The shop ended up replacing it at the time with the RFX.75. It work phenomenal. Just a thought for you to think about if it’s weak.
