Are you able to work the spot market for a few years and then make relationships to do more of a direct to shipper type of model? Can the spot market be good enough to not work directly with shippers? Ive seen posts of $3.50+ a mile on DAT load board on dry van and reefer so i thought i would ask what y'all do. i was thinking maybe investing in different trailers so i can haul whatever looks good for variety but i'm not sure.
