Log Verification via Flock cameras

I got an inspection in Inkom back in summer, and they pulled up video of me somewhere in spring.

They were looking to see what they had on video vs what my logbook showed.

Not sure if that's what this is talking about, but maybe?

 

Couple years ago, I had a Wisconsin DOT inspection at Illinois state line I-94 WB. Inspector said they have 7 camera positions around the state they compare logbooks with.

 

20 years ago I had a state DOT auditor, (former weight cop and truck driver) tell me they were using traffic cameras, POE cameras, toll cameras, and weight station camera to cross check logs.

Given AI, I have no doubt flock camera's cold be used for checking logs. But, since the ELD mandate most weight cops have let their log auditing skills atrophy.

That's insane. I'm ghave to check that out to check my routes out.

 

Ya got to be pretty dense to log off duty and claim to teleport to a different state on elogs. Flock cameras or not.
