What if it Snows?

I would stir in some jalapeno cut up slices in my skillet corn bread, just never thought of adding bacon.
Make it to KY for Christmas, will get the daughter to whip us up some.
Do the bits in the mixing/pouring or sink in after in skillet as in a pecan pie?

The latter, otherwise they go to the bottom on me. Always liked the richness it added. Probably couldn’t hold a candle to good southern made cornbread though

 

Got me thinking about a nice layer of bacon slices at the bottom of the pan, making a cornbread turnover type dish.

 

Stand clear, man has suppressed desires.... (Prolly strops them between slices... Keeps that edge..)

 

Break that down a little if you will. Where did the train go, if involved? Good mix otherwise...

Wife and I celebrated 40 years together yesterday. If something happened to her, I wouldn't look for another live-in woman. I'd poke fun at a few of them, but I'd leave the farm to the boys and subdivide a chunk for me and my toys. A nice semi off grid shouse tucked back in the trees of the north quarter section would be the ideal setup, an 18 hole golf course borders the east boundary of that 160 acres. But she'll probably outlive me. I'm ok with that too.
