Wait what about going down hill in a half filled tanker in the rain. Hitting the brakes and the tail fish tails back and forth. Its happened, even on level ground. But that was once. Down hill more than once.

I drove an auto for a few weeks when my truck was down. Didn't have any issues managing the surge. Going forward. Backing up took a while to get it right. I'd be gassing on it trying to back and then the surge hit the other way and I'd have to hit the brakes hard. Didn't have any "creep" feature so I ended up just keeping one foot on the brake when backing.exhausted379, austinmike, BennysPennys and 12 others Thank this.
