The reason why I brought this up is, you and I can’t have a metal fingernail file, but every single day, on the front page of the local newspaper, are the pictures of everyone who was murdered the day before. Mexican newspapers have horror movie levels of gore. Criminals have everything, but the average law abiding citizen doesn’t even have a nail file. Just a victim waiting to be preyed upon. Don’t want to be a victim? Be a criminal.

If Lynyrd Skynyrd was Mexican, maybe Hector Vector, they would have had a song about Mr Tijuana Nail File.

 

Maybe. Idk. I’m not advocating one way or the other. I’m a huge skynyrd fan, but they weren’t a conservative bunch. They were pretty liberal. So is Willie and so was Waylon. I get what you’re saying. But they do have a point. A Saturday night special is made for one thing and one thing only. That’s not saying there ain’t some mfer’s that don’t need killing. I guess for artists that align with those beliefs we gotta go with the Nug, Hank jr, kid rock and Jerry Lee Lewis.

but skynyrd did put out some iconic music.

 

Watching an episode of cast iron cooking with Kent Rollins and he was making it in hot coals. Some of the best I’ve had actually came from Wintzel’s oyster house in Mobile, Alabama. I opted for Jack Daniel’s in the whiskey cream sauce….
