I'm starting to see now that this is a much bigger problem for dry van and reefer than for flatbedders. I'm glad I just rolled with it. We don't hardly ever pick up empties, we just drop them and pickup preloaded ones, and it's much harder to look the yard jockey in the eye as you pass him after leaving a ton of debris sitting on the deck in plain view

I used to run Dell computers up to UPS in Secaucus, NJ. Hands down…THE most trash left in trailers I’ve ever seen. And that was 25 years ago.

The only UPS yard i have been frequent is Sacramento, We drop in therre and go to a empty yard to pickup, its been my practice to sweep out the empty there before I hook up, and only take sellable pallet, get 8.00 each for good pallets, take a many as I can find to the pallet yard and sell them
