Samsara lacks CarPlay integration

    The other day I was cutting it close with my HOS and had to fumble with my phone to keep an eye on my drive time. Seems strange that Samsara doesn't have a CarPlay app that will let you see this info on the truck's infotainment screen. A lot of companies have policies where you can't touch your phone but you can use infotainment.

    My company has tablets that they provide and pay for. So we can see HOS on tablet and I try to use voice commands on phone when possible. My company says we can touch the screen on phone or tablet 1 button at a time, to do things. That’s the DOT rules they say. So we can’t scroll thru messages or something like that. If you needed to push button to answer a call you can do that or switch the tablet from ELD to navigation screen we can .
