These days I would guess watching a movie or any other app on a tablet is a more likely reason than either of the two you listed.

Idk.. all I know is, I came up on it last night. They had the interstate shut down and routing everybody up the offramp and back down the on-ramp… The four wheeler was upside down completely obliterated as well…

Evidently another semi has wrecked here on interstate 40 in New Mexico and they’re waiting on the wreckers to arrive because the truck is blocking the entire interstate… The conditions are dry and sunny here as well. It happened around the 47 mile marker here on I 40 westbound

Even he had gotten through the turns, the bridge at the bottom is closed. We have land in that area. When they logged, there were a couple switchbacks where the trucks had to back up to make it.

    Trucker61016, MACK E-6 and 48Packard Thank this.

Look at all the tow yards along that route scattered across 40 and check out the names on the trucks and trailers. It will become self explanatory. And coming across yesterday morning, they added 2 more wrecks to the pile. The last 15 years it’s been a free for all from the Ca/Az line to the OKC city limits.
