I’m looking for the best options to get back in the game. Have been out almost 4 years doing local non Cdl box and previous employer wants approx 50k miles with a trainer to get back in, feels excessive. I have done lease purchase before and liked it so that’s my interest so far. Considering all options reefer, tanker dry bulk, even oil field etc. Have combined endorsement, twic and everything current. Any help appreciated.

Without knowing where you are -- it's pretty tough to make decent suggestions.

A zip code would be wuuuunnnn-der-ful.

Oklahoma but I don’t care where. I’m not tied down to a location.

You're basically a rookie driver with a CDL to insurance companies... I know that stinks but it's just the way it is in trucking... Try Bay and Bay, Freymiller, or look into the smaller companies.. All The Best...

You've been out 4 years. You're definitely going to have to do a refresher, or do those 50000 miles. Insurance won't go for those kind of gaps anymore. Nowadays, most companies want 1 year experience within the last 3. If you're going to drive for a reputable company, then you'll have to go through these inconveniences.
