Nice chain job on those girders. I'll have to remember that trick...especially for the front. :)

You must be loading this right at the galvanizer? I wonder who delivered the black iron to be dipped. A few of the places I’ve been to will give you the same loader that unloaded the load to begin with, assuming that they’ll remember how to put it back on the truck. You are live loading aren’t you?
    Nice chain job btw…

Lol I wish it worked like that at the place I go to. I bring them a neatly stacked load of raw steel and I get back a pile of ######## with huge voids in the middle and pieces sitting on boards over open air space.

The guys that fabricate these buildings typically deliver to the galvanizer. They are about two hours away.
This project is going about nine hours away to be erected. They don’t like going that far, so I do it.

Yeah I know what you’re saying. I’ve been to probably 6 different galvanizers in the northeast and maybe 2 out of the 6 you’ll get the same loader that knew how it came in on the truck

First loads of the year. First was legal just 11 ft tall. 2nd is a little over 9 ft wide, 8 tall but was already out with the double drop. 20260108_082318.jpg 20260108_132243.jpg
