Still 115,000 miles a year is hardly anything.. that’s less than 2400 miles a week my goodness

Yeah well I had family things that were more important than miles per week....I prefer consistent running over hard running... there's a difference.....not every AM is the same either and some you have to fight more for miles too...

But they have to dispatch those miles. If they give you three 500 mile loads a week, with 2 days to get them delivered, then you're not going to make that minimum. The company has a lot to do with this.

Either switch your asset mgr or switch to reefer side…

we have the option of rejecting loads, and one of the options on the rejection screen is unproductive if drivers don’t reject those loads once in a while because they’re unproductive then that’s on the driver… And most of the problems I see that occur are on the dry side because I don’t see very many reefer drivers that are not getting the miles from my talking to drivers…

Well my mgr works really well with me and I'm happy so I don't really see switching.....and I've done reefer and went to dry because I got sick of the chaotic schedule and deliveries.....dry is much more predictable at least..

@Trucker61016 I did 128,500 paid miles last year and that was taking off eight days twice the beginning of the year to take care of issues and then taking off 12 days the beginning of October when I went on vacation, I took off a total of 55 days so nearly 2 months..

Tyson has a tire fill system called the halo system on our drives. It is held on to the hub by 1 bolt in the middle. Just had my left front halo come off while driving hitting the upper fairing and cracking it. I didn't hear it hit. Had 2 different cars motion for me to pull over and saw light smoke in my mirror. When the halo let loose both drives lost air pressure and shredded by the time I noticed. Looks like I need at least 1 rim as well as an abs sensor that the wire got cut. Hoping no other damage so I can get back to springdale once tires get fixed
