How long can meat stay out before problems?

Seriously, I remember one time cleaning out my ex wife's pigstye of a car. I found a half eaten fast food burger that one of the kids had dumped under the seat. It showed no sign of anything except dust and dirt.

She hadn't been to a fast food joint for several months. . .

Makes you really wonder if it is fresh when they cook it!

 

It's my understanding that fast food meat has so many preservatives in it, if you eat it right before you die you won't have to be embalmed!

I know Taco Bell/Hell uses Grade "D" meat- no wonder their food is cheap.

 

Yup, Big Texan. I like eating there b/c they actually cook steaks to my liking (rare). I've had a 36-oz rib eye. That was big enough for me.

I didn't say it was bad... just paraphrased what is actually on the menu & threw in my opinion.

A lot of people love that place. I've never understood why, but to each their own.

There's a little Truckstop in Bainbridge, GA that used to have an awesome lunch /dinner menu, but the breakfast one wasn't worth a ####.

Maybe it's changed, I haven't been up there in a while.
