What was the question related to? In the book? I'm going to guess you are upset with the pay structure? You probably want to know when you are getting paid? Maybe why you have not received your proper compensation?? And they are tell ing you "it's in the book!" Lol

This is a great way for office staff and management to dehumanize and de-personalize the drivers. No person to person contact or phone contact helps them to sleep better at night when they treat the truckers like so much livestock.

Voodoo Pyg and Lonwolv54 Thank this.

You made an account just to post that? Please tell me that you went back to work at McDonald's afterward.

Are their dispatch’s still ASAP with a pick up time of yesterday? I refused a couple of these and I got spoken to by a fat, bald, tattooed guy with spittle flying out of his mouth.
When he seen that I was driving 10000+ miles a month and just didn’t care about his yelling he changed his attitude quickly.
I reported him and my bipolar DM to HR as I was leaving.

Have they shrunk? I don't see that many May Trucks anymore.

After my really ####ed up time at Stevens Transport, I learned real quick that the only person you have to depend on is you. When they say "you're the captain of your ship", you'd better ###### well take that role. When I ended up at SRT in 2017, I only called my DM when it was a serious problem and I'd already done every-godblessed-thing I could to solve it. I have a story for that if you want to read it. Oh and they were forced dispatch. Trucking companies are in the business of making money, not to babysit you (shoutout to @Chinatown for the quote). If the tell you to read the manual, do that. This way if they try anything or try flexing, you can make it hurt them. I've gotten a few dispatchers ripped apart like that. Also, skip your DM and call the dispatch yourself. There's nothing in policy anywhere I've worked that says you can't.
