I know during anhydrous season this fall we had multiple trucks running to the same locations and they could barely keep up with how fast the farmers were pulling it out. I’m not sure how many bottles we have. 20-some maybe? I haven’t had the desire to pull one.Feedman Thanks this.

The people who give out the loads to the carriers are the people you want to talk to. Their job title is usually "distribution coordinator" or "scheduler."
Every time you go to the loading rack ask the operator who that person is for their terminal. -
I think that will help, I have been learning a lot from this form.

Good luck. My company started with just one guy, one bulk plant and one truck. He built it up to over 1 million gallons of LP storage in Wisconsin with a dedicated rail line to feed more than 3 million gallons of LP a month to our largest bulk plaint. Even if you could get your own land and build yourself your own bulk plant, you'll still need to find a supplier to keep it full and you'll need to find your own customers. There is one ray of hope. We do business with a handful of independent haulers who negotiate a price and they buy a minimum 1 million gallons for 6 months to a year. They get to use our facilities to load and if they don't sell is all within the contracted time frame they are charged a daily storage fee of $75 till it's gone. Getting customers is the MOST important thing you could think of, you can hire consultants for everything else...

Thanks, I was thinking there mite be bulk purchase. I was hoping I could still some how fit in, weather it be by my self OR I work with some one else. I was looking at offering a company outside of my area a new branch in my area (with small help). I have workers for dispatching I have 2 other drivers (3 total) that want to work with me now. Around here single truck running 3 loads per day = 30,000 gal. Times that by 90 days 2,700,000 one truck (give or take). I didn't think the places I deliver to had control of who gets the load? I though they just buy through a broker? then the broker posts for the deliver? I would have to see what a good cost rate would be for the load, I have a idea for the delivery based on my old load pay sheets. I would still need to know what the current market is paying in my area?
Your ray of hope? can you help with loads around my area? (I can give you the pick up and delivery locations) I can make contact and negotiate with little guidance.
I have my account working on the paper work side, I need more on the load side.
Thanks for your help, It means a lot.
