But I like driving & wrenching on trucks...

 

Well, This is what I would want to do. It's has more meaning to truckers and my grandfather who passed.



This truck right here i would buy and rebuild. Maybe a older Mack. I would pant it gloss black along with the trailer. I would want it to be very plain. Only thing i would do it's make sure it had one hell of a engine and on the side of the hood the words "Phantom 309". Of course black tinted windows. Black 8" stacks too.

Now, The reasoning behind this is mainly because my grandfather. I remember when he took me on the road with him he would put old red on the radio when running threw the night. I would love to hear the guys on the road comments when I pass them. Or enter a truck stop. And to this date, If you google no one has done this, Or have i ever seen a truck like this anywhere.

What I'd like to get is an old F6 or F7 and restore it....

 

then become a mechanic for a truck demolition derby

 

I don't want to work for JB Hunt or Swift...

 

I'm not good with all the details like sone of these but it'd be set up with everything I need to pull whatever I felt like pulling. I'd have it powered by a next generation steam engine or, if I could get away with it, a micro reactor. All wheel steering.
