That’s a Quebec thing. Lol. As long as your medically certified in your home province, your good to run the states, due to reciprocity.

I hear that, wife is a nurse who has finally been wrung out, and moved to a private palliative care facility for work. It is all funded by donations, a wonderful place for people’s final days

A Nurse Practioner can do drivers medical. Lots of them around usually working out of walk-in clinics or find one on FB or Tinder:D

@AModelCat: There’s a few walk-in clinics around Calgary that’ll take you in on short notice. (If you get down this way).

I just had my drivers medical done in October at a walk-in clinic in the Marlborough Mall area of Calgary. There was a few others around town that allowed it as well. Prices ranged from $60-150.

I had mine done on a Sunday. In and out in under an hour. - Spent more time at the Registry renewing my license than I did at the clinic.

A place I called last week said they take walk ins today. Showed up first thing this morning and found out they decided not to open today. Drove around to a few places and finally got an appointment.

I don't like to leave things to last minute so I got on the search nearly a month and a half early. I believe we can renew our license up to 6 months early so I think I'll start looking 3 or 4 months early next time.

I live in ontario when i need to do a medical i just call up my local walk in clinic that i use as soon as they open up in the morning and ask do you guys do medical for truck drivers and can you do one today . i’ve never had any problems. I bring my forms in , pay the doctors fee because it’s not free and he dose a few checks like blood pressure, urine test, and vision test . then he fills the mto fourm out and i’m gone. I never would go to my family doctor or the doctors who only do truck drivers mto medical’s because they check way too much stuff
