Disk brake conversion on drive axles?

    Wether or not it would be a super involved or cost effective bolt on conversion. IMO if the wheel ends are totally different (they probably are) I would say not worth it. But there are some technical and performance advantages to disk brakes. They probably don’t get frozen stuck either in the winter.

    I know a guy that did it on his dump truck, he got a crashed truck that had disc, swapped them over and cost 10k+ in some shop in Tampa, FL.....said that it was so worth cause the difference was night n day for stopping distance and acceleration for local driving

    I could see
    Probably, now that I really think about it that would be the straightforward way to do it.

    Maybe on a front axle it could be a more realistic bolt on conversion
