Started with the company about 9 days ago. The I’ve been in trucking for about 17years. From the start of placing the application in on Tenstreet to the flight, hotel stay and orientation…the process was amazing. Coming from Western Express which HORRIBLE…this was a major upgrade.
The cpm is very fair, the process from hr to benefits was also welcoming. They are huge on communication which is big difference for me. The only hangup I can say right now is the maintenance side. My ABS light came on and the crew gave me some out of this world directions…cut truck on and off 15 times, squeeze brakes and a whole slew of crazy stuff. Outside of that company start off is going very well.
Will update or answer any question that comes from here.

ABS light on the truck or on the trailer? That could be as simple as a dirty wheel speed sensor, a wheel speed sensor that is unplugged, a wheel speed sensor with a frayed wire or casing that is exposing wire to metal causing a short. I think they might have been trying to tell you how to read the codes from the ABS light, if it is on the trailer. You can turn the key on for a few seconds, off, and back on again and see the ABS light flash on the trailer. Count the number of times it flashes. If it flashes the same number one time, it should be that there is only "code", so 5 flashes three times would mean the trouble code is "5" for that respective system, I do believe.Flat Earth Trucker and OTRWife43 Thank this.

Hey where is orientation held at??

I have never seen an ABS light flash for a trailer. It's either not on because ABS is functioning or the light is on because ABS is not functioning. It corresponds with ABS light that appears on a trailer on the left side rear just in front of the marker light. The code is singular meaning there is one code that relates to the trailer ABS not working.
