No kidding lol. Yeah, I have only a few more days of class left thankfully lol. Mostly have been thinking about Strimbu because someone at school said they might work with me having a bunch of felonies. What’s the deal with the other company you mentioned, total distribution?

They're like strimbu a local company started by a family I went to highschool with here close to Canton. Good people the owners son used to drive passed down to a 3rd generation now. I would go with total distribution which you drive by their warehouse when you practice at hamrick in barberton. Here's the website and 2 other places I recommend. Total has reefer dry van and tanker and flatbed. Logan and greenlines have flatbed only.

WE has horror stories with it.
You have the criminal record and mos5 people need 6 months to a year of driving to get a better job. Starter companies are on the crappy side.
Anyway good luck. You doing the right thing by asking for advice. -
Elaborate on Maverick not being who one wants to work for - at? What happened with you there?Lonesome Thanks this.

Yes I was going to make a similar comment getting into school won't be an issue and has no influence as to who will hire you, this is something one needs to do their due diligence on before spending the money on the driving course. #1 question being asked by you is will a company hire me based on my record? Alot as you say will depend on how recent it was and for what the offense was for. All the best for the future is all I can say.

What CDL school one attends MIGHT limit where you work. Some companies only hire their newbies from a certain school. This is why I preach find the job first and decide about CDL school based on the job. CDL school is fast, and only needs to satisfy your first employer. After that, it makes no difference.rollin coal and Trucker61016 Thank this.

If you can go to NC..Mabe Trucking and Bottomley will hire you. Try Cooke trucking also

I know oilfield isn't big in Ohio, but look for small frac companies or other oilfield companies that require a CDL.
