USDOT boss touts removal of more than 11,500 unqualified truck drivers from the road

Good start. Hundreds.of thousands left to go.

 

Wouldn't it be nice to add 3 zeros to that number?

 

How many fake/substandard companies has he shut down?

 

That is the gayest thing I ever saw from government official.

Considering who his predecessor was, considering the times, I thought that was a bar I would not see crossed.

We all know all 10,500 truck drivers he is claiming to 'remove from roads,' took their tickets, hopped back in their trucks, and drove to their next load.

 

You know I wish is was true, but I think not.

Most people don't realize how seasonal truck is, and always has been. Always has been lots of truck parking this time of year.

 

Last week lots of parking. Today rest areas full in middle of the day. Snow storm in Mi/Oh may have played a factor. Some factories are still down. Plenty Trucks running. Time will tell. It’s hard to say yet. All I know is every time I fuel, it’s 8 foreigners and 2 Americans. Hard to believe.

 

Parking near Laredo and the southern border definitely improved. I-35 has improved. I noticed that myself.

 

The artwork in the original post reminds me of something I would expect to see coming out of North Korea with respect to their "Dear Leader." I'd bet money that the actual man is sporting a muffin top not that slim and trim athletic muscular build.
