My wife is slightly Bougie nowadays, but I take partial responsibility for it since I did take a trailer park raised 21 year old country girl to the City and pay for her College Education 23 years ago. However these heated pads she bought several years ago after an ice storm are the shi@! Since their furthest I need to go is to the garage to get away from her occasionally, the only thing I need to shovel now is the dogs Astro turf pee pad! She still thinks she knows more than I ever did the more money she makes, but occasionally having a Bougie wife ain’t a bad thing! IMG_6606.jpeg

Unfortunately yes. Engine and transmission core p/u’s are the worst for that sort of thing because the receivers are rarely diligent in making sure they sent the BOL to the shipper, and car dealers are even more of a headache because sometimes only one person in the place will have a clue and it’s their day off.

And don’t get me started on the situations when there’s a warranty company involved or somebody else ordered it and had it shipped directly to the shop, so now they are the party who was likely emailed the BOL and have to be tracked down.

She got them initially just for the steps and they worked so well we bought more when they were on sale.

.We had all sleet here and it hasn't got over 20 since Saturday. But we didn't get any freezing rain so didn't have any issues with icing or power failures. My driveway has @ 3-4 inches of sleet on it and it is solid. I backed the car out today and didn't even leave a tire impression in the sleet it is so solid. Supposed to hit 38 tomorrow so it will all be gone in a couple days and I can go fishing.

Fortunately the sleet here cut the total snow down to about 6” or so. The yard I haul out of 120 miles west got 12” and the yard is still closed. It’s my last week before retiring so I decided to stay parked the rest of the week and not take any unnecessary risks. We aren’t getting very warm this week, but that’s just part of living in the Ohio Valley. It may be 70 in January or it may be zero, sometimes in the same week. IMG_1461.png
