Of course I’ve figured that out. That’s why I post here even though I get harassed.

Choice is mine. I asked for advice and heed their advice.

I'm not sure harassed is accurate; I think folks are just brutally honest.

They don’t have the part. It’s coming from Paccar warehouse in Oklahoma City. I offered to go pick it up myself and they said no.

Siinman, W923 and Oxbow Thank this.

I haven't seen you post the actual issue with what the trans was doing.. as @wore out said there is a way to read the codes yourself

Man I feel bad for you
That’s insane to replace what appears to be not much more than a turn signal switch…. I could swap out the whole #### transmission for that money…..and I think I have a good used rto18913 in the back room still….just not sure what would have to be done to keep the truck running after all that bs got unhooked

Rh stalk does F/N/R. Paddle shift up and down. Jake brake level swing up and down. Yank and hold down for full jake and crazy agressive 2000rpm downshifting.
Been replacing those ever since they came out.
Part is a kw part which has less factory warranty (1 year 100k miles) then the eaton coverage.
If you pay you can get out to 500k miles coverage on the whole truck.

D.Tibbitt, Oxbow, Long FLD and 5 others Thank this.

I asked the dealership how much is the extended warranty and they said 2 years 200k miles. No other warranty options.

    D.Tibbitt and Oxbow Thank this.
