Try not to be nervous, take your time and and breeth the whole time your doing the test. Its not that bad, remember to do the exercises the way the examiner tells you, they want you to perform it correctly and safely. If you cant perform it correctly they will fail you.All in all it was easy,I'm 38 and had no problems my heart rate at its highest on one of the test was 122 my fail heart rate was 164!Good luck and Breeth during test. FISH ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has to stay at or under your target heart rate which is calculated by the formula of: 220-your age times 90. So if your are 55 you have to stay under
    149.

Non driver here thinking about taking the plunge into driving. Do you think the 7/7 option would be open to someone living in Nashville ? and knowing that the paycheck would be much smaller than a true road warriors would be..can anyone here give me a "rough" approximation of how much I could take home for 7 days out ?? I know there are alot of variables that factor in, but I would appreciate having SOME idea of what to expect. Thanks in advance.

Just popping in to say I passed my cdl test today. So happy. I got here three weeks ago.I thought for almost two weeks I just couldn't do it.I was pretty bad.couldn't shift.got all nervous and flustered.would do things like go around a turn in neutral or stop when I missed a gear.the teachers were awesome. Had lots of patience.I only got 1 point on my test. A little wide on a right turn.he almost let it go. So far I'm pretty excited about working at roehl.

Congrats on passing your test and good luck on your EVO's as well. Hope all of your trainers will be good. I had three and they were all bearable:) and I even learned a few more things. So far so good.

I'm still here, just been busy.

My wife is going out with me next week for 10 days. If all goes well, she may join me permanently.

The first thing is to get her in the truck for at least a week and see how she adapts to life on the road. If she likes it, she may consider driving. If she doesn't drive, she will still make a great passenger as she is still my best friend.

Didn't mean anything by my question. I was wondering if you two were going to team. I rode many times with hubby before getting my CDL. As far as my perspective goes, it's different being a rider as opposed to being a co-driver. Hope she enjoys either way she goes.
