Yeah true, but the issue is also with the actual recruiters. I'm thinking if there is more people who have issues with Western Express, we could go file, they have several class actions already

Predatory? How do you figure? Western, and all other companies don't force you anyone to sign a lease purchase agreement. They make it sound good, and it's on the driver to not fall for it.

Lonesome, ESAFO and navypoppop Thank this.

I don't know if I'd say they're that shady. The things that gets reported on there, majority of the time, drivers do it to themselves.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

If it were me, I'd just ignore it and let it go to collections.

Because I told the recruiters what's the situation. They said they were completely understanding. Then they pull a app from two years and say I lied. And now they trying to hang me for something I was careful to convey. Does that sound like honesty to you?

And yeah either way , my point is they say , yes come to orientation, we will hire you. But before you have to sign a contract that states you could be fired for any reason and pay 2500. And its at that point that a person says well I'm in or not in. They know some people may not be approved, but they still see if they'll sign the contract, since they will try to collect 2500$ based on the terms

I understand. Years ago I was shafted in court over alimony, so I just refused to pay it and ignored it. Nothing happened to me and eventually it just went away. Collection agencies don't have the power people think they do.
Edit: Just remembered one time I had another collection harassing me over a debt I felt was unjust, so I ignored it also. Ignored the letters and phone calls. Eventually, all that stopped.
My credit score right now, today, is 830.

Truth. I worked as a collection agent for about 2 years. Not concerned with the threats. Just the FACT of the matter.. but yeah I may have to do that. Especially if no one has ability to come forward and we could organize something big. Thanks man
