@Oxbow jaw move- coming from Lewiston hauler said he had to axle-up (sounds like he put on everything he has- 4 axle sleeper Pete, 2+3+1 trailer!), POE red light said he couldn't go 12 so he went to Grangeville (13 up here is better than 12?) spent the night Grangeville and made it here mid morning. I'm listening to this story on the phone face scrunched up "Huh?"

Was it because of length on 12? I imagine he didn't volunteer that he was going to take 13. I can't see needing that many axles for an 80k load, but one of those 10' boosters that Aspen made, that Peter and Keates used to carry would sure be nice.

One thing that I find is that a lot of guys are so much heavier than we are, that it bumps them out of being able to haul the same loads on the same number of axles. Our trailer is a 96 Aspen, and it weighs about 20 while our tractor is about 21.

IMG_4622.jpeg When replacing shoes, keep your fingers clear when installing s-cam rollers. Pry bars do slip. When they do it hurt about like getting your finger in a bear trap.

That ####er is deep. And I’m pretty sure when that big spring slammed shut that it broke that tip. I’ve ate six Advil and she’s still throbbing. But I had a first aid kit.
