Something else we agree on. @Opus is the epitome of "retirement". I mean he just gave (enter any activity) up like the farmer found his cow...

If I was 20 year younger, I would cash out my retirement funds and buy up all of that I could. If it will do as you say, there is a captive market out there just waiting. Why the splinters under the fingernails would yield thousands...

Throbbing from an injury mentioned reminded me and a question.
My father in law was out with relatives near a farm pond, plenty of snakes and someome had a .22 pistol.....
They took turns popping snakes. PaPaw is/was a carpenter at Millington NAS. Rights handed with good manual dexterity.
At his turn, he proceeded to shoot off his right forefinger. Amazing, how well you can use a claw hammer still minus that finger.
But my question. He said the for years he could feel throbbing, ache, and sensation "out there" where it had been.
I've had oak splinters cut out of finger nails by doctors and know what throbbing is, but with it missing??
