I'm curious what location of Loves this was because my son had an annual inspection at one and the "new guy" said one of his drive tires was bald and needed replaced. Funny thing was, he had just replaced them and they only had about 8k miles on all of the drives.

It was a loves in Texas. I ended up filing a claim with Corporate and they issued me a check for around $1500, all the parts and repair cost that I submitted to them, so I appreciate they were able to make it right in the end.

Don’t let those places touch anything unless it’s an emergency would be my take away.

That was crazy. I’d cut thru the eye or stud on the shock before i’d get that close to the mount. Cutting off the mount is a new one to me. Thats gas axe salvage yard savage right there.

I don’t think it was cut. That piece is cast. I’m guessing the bolt was seized in the bushing and they tried to pound it out with a sledgehammer

Yeah, hard to imagine how hard he was whacking that thing. It actually broke in two spots. All is well now
