My conestoga trailer has been measured at 13’6” high and the Bridge ahead sign reads 13’7”. Hypothetically I only have One inch of clearance and I zoom under the bridge at 65-70 mph. (Didn’t even duck  )

My first tanker job used new trucks with automatic emergency braking. It would randomly panic brake, sometimes due to a false radar signal and sometimes a false camera image. I put up with it doing that for 2.5 of the 3 years until I decided to start calling in each event to the company safety hotline.

Height depends on what type/size rubber you run, and brand of 5th wheel. 22.5 low pro pulling a Utility 3000R, i measured out at 13-4.
It's not hard to measure your height and should be something every driver does when they get a new setup.

things are good! We dogged the Texas ice by 4 hrs last month and found place to securely store our load until we could deliver it days later. It turned a 2 day load into a 6 day load but we kept the rubber side down unlike a lot of trucks we saw on I-10 North of San Antonio a couple days later.

Driving through Houston and Dallas.I live in Houston now,it took 3 years driving around here before I got comfortable. Now anything the idiots do around me on the roads doesn't surprise me at all.
Going north through Dallas I started running 45 to 75,staying off of 635 and 35 E.75 is a lot easier than other options.

How I can't sleep as well at home in silence as I can at an active truck stop....?? The noise becomes white noise and the silence of home becomes disturbing...

You don’t have to duck unless the bridge is 10 feet or less
