I'm replacing rotors on a T660. The ABS tone ring is held on to the hub with (10) 8-32 screws. I got 8 of the 10 out. 2 broke off right at the hub face. Hub is aluminum. Problem is, there's thread locker in there and I'm a little concerned about getting the hub too hot. The 2 broken screws aren't right next to each other, there's 2 good ones in between the broken ones. Here's the question: if I can't get the broken studs out, replace the hub or just put the tone ring in with 8 out of 10 and hope for the best. Local dealer, of course, says 8 out of 10 isn't good enough. Thoughts?

Personally, I would run it with 8 and not be worried.

I took it back to the shop to the drill press. The 2 offending screws are now 10-32. Worked a treat. Thanks!
