In this case the truck was damaged by another vehicle while waiting on a customer’s property.
Instead of waiting for the tow truck the driver decided to drive in an attempt to meet the tow truck, which was poor judgment on the driver’s part.
I drove Cascadias for years. At least 3 times I locked my keys inside. I know I know I always intended to get an extra key but for some reason every truck I get only has one key for it. Now I’m in a Western Star. It only locks with the key fob or manually with the key. Very nice.
Cascadias have to lock right where you tend to set your arm. In the three times I locked myself out I wasn’t even meaning to lock the truck at all.
That’s a company owner trying to save face. Both door windows were busted out and the windshield was damaged. That’s not from another truck. And, most likely, there was never any tow truck enroute.
