Deliver in Hopkins, Mn later on this morning then bounce to Cedar Rapids and don’t get loaded til Monday night going to Escondido, Ca. Originally had a Spokane load but it cancelled. Cold ASF up here….had to pull out the thermal under garments. Getting what I need miles wise though.

Watch out for the protesters and chaos up there in Hopkins. Escondido is a good run. I’ve always been able to park there overnight prior to my delivery. If you get there early, you can park against the curb on the right and stay back just enough for their day cabs to come and go through the gate.

I left Winter Haven Sunday afternoon, loaded in Memphis Tuesday morning, and delivered in Modesto, California yesterday (Friday) morning.

Yeah, crazy in that area. My asian gf lives in Minneapolis and ICE came knocking but didn’t open the door, scared them off with a second amendment speech, lol! She is only 4 foot 9 and scared of the abduction stories going around. She was legally born here.

Ended up being stuck in the St. Paul/Minneapolis area for three and a half days on that Hopkins load due to the truck having the derate thing start up. Went away on its own. The Ca load got taken off and a Pa load put on but it kept pushing out so another Ca load got put on me going to Modesto. Got unloaded and took a 34 then got a load of tangerine juice concentrate going to bartow, fl which is due Monday but Ill be there tomorrow if it can deliver early. Got to put the truck in the shop as my front shocks started leaking and my fridge stopped keeping cold. Had to buy a cooler and do the ice thing til fixed. Wasn’t paying 220$ for a motorized cooler in the truckstop.

Sorry to hear about the truck issue. My previous one went into derate back in 2023 in Phoenix. You should be able to drop and hook in Bartow when you get there. Pull up to the security shack out front by the road. Loaded usually drops around back. The empties are out front in the lot farthest from security.

I’ve been running nonstop. I left Winter Haven on Monday, loaded egg in Georgia that afternoon, and delivered in New York on Wednesday. I picked up a preloaded tank in Bensalem Wednesday evening, dropped it in Hopkins, MN on Friday. I loaded egg again in Iowa on Saturday and deliver in New York again on Monday. That will put me at 3,808 paid miles from Monday to Monday, not bad for a week’s work. I’m surprised your fridge went out being a 116 series truck.
