Hauled a 9200 into the Pathfinder today
Ranch manager was telling me today before they bought this place the ranch had 27 homes across all the ranches in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. This place brings the number of houses up to 50. I guess they need to hire some people. Probably a good opportunity for a young guy to get into that kind of work.Sons Hero, blairandgretchen, ElmerFudpucker and 17 others Thank this. -
Honestly he could probably get it if he didn't have a couple people who clearly don't have even the tiniest understanding of how that trailer works giving him bad suggestions.Sons Hero, blairandgretchen, ElmerFudpucker and 7 others Thank this.

I couldn’t do it, wouldn’t know how, BUT what would be the duties. For some reason, I am thinking “Curly” from City Slickers. Would it be ranch work or tourist hand holding?ElmerFudpucker, CAXPT, Feedman and 6 others Thank this.

I am not answering for sawmill, but I think it has a few interesting "occupations" The first ones I thought of were
Home Construction and LandBaron.
Everyone Stay safe and have a great weekend. Thank You for all that you do.

They're going to need cowboys... several of them. Gotta know how to spot and doctor cattle, how to tell when the feed in a pasture is fed off and it's time to move them. How to fix fence. Branding, sorting, loading trucks. In the down times it's things like building corrals.
They'll generally provide a salary, a house, pickup and stock trailer, feed and shoes for half a dozen horses, and a beef in the freezer.
My son works for them. His job is mainly projects like water lines and troughs, building feeders, maintaining roads, etc.
It isn't City Slickers or Yellowstone. I don't think they have any interest in tourism but it may come to that if they can find a way to use all those houses.blairandgretchen, ElmerFudpucker, CAXPT and 15 others Thank this. -
LOL just spent the last hour on the phone figuring out what MN ifta IRP wanted for updated contact information...... absolutely nothing, just resubmit the same F'N contact information they have had for the last 6 years to "verfiy" I am who I say I am. what a F'N joke, she was like well they are making everyone do it, I was getting pissed, because instead of being able to enjoy my #### Friday off, the first Friday off since like new years, I am sitting on the phone going through there BS, and she told me not to raise my voice..... I just said so you guys are withholding my tabs for my commercial vehicle, which is how I make money so I can live, nevermind the fact you have had my $$ for the registration for over a month, so you basically stole my $$ and didn't hold up your end and send me my new tabs, but I am supposed to be happy, about sitting on the phone for over an hour waiting for you to answer it, we are really busy right now is all she said.... FML I am going to go live in the woods
blairandgretchen, CAXPT, The_vett and 10 others Thank this. -
If they have any need for some fella to ride around on a horse setting wolf traps, wearing out the beaver (in water or elsewhere), and keeping bears outta the spring calves, well, holler.
Hell, I'd even do that for freeElmerFudpucker, CAXPT, The_vett and 11 others Thank this.
